Job Description:
Job Objective:
Managing and developing relationships with financial institutions and correspondent banks to ensure the bank's objectives are achieved and high-quality banking services are provided.
Responsibilities:
- Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions and correspondent banks.
- Negotiate agreements and terms with correspondent banks and contribute to strengthening mutual cooperation.
- Operations and Coordination
- Coordinate operations between the bank and financial institutions/correspondent banks.
- Ensure compliance with local and international laws and regulations related to correspondent banking operations.
- Business Development
- Identify new business opportunities with financial institutions and correspondent banks.
- Analyze the market to identify trends and opportunities for developing banking services.
- Risk Management
- Assess and manage risks associated with dealings with correspondent banks.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to mitigate risks.
- Reporting and Analysis
- Prepare periodic reports on the performance of the financial institutions and correspondent banks unit.
- Analyze performance data and make data-driven decisions to improve operations.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Academic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as CFA or MBA are preferred.
Experience
- 3-10 years of experience in banking relations and financial institutions, with experience in team management.
Skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to build professional relationships.
- Strong negotiation and financial analysis skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage time efficiently.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving ability
